Everyone goes through adversity. We all have hard times.
It’s easy to become negative and bitter and to lose your enthusiasm for life when everything is going south. We get a victim mentality, always blaming someone else, dragging around what’s left of our dignity.
YOU ARE NOT DEFINED BY YOUR PAST. YOU ARE PREPARED BY YOUR PAST.
Every challenge you’ve been through, every adversity you’ve faced. God deposited something on the inside. Your CHARACTER was being developed. STRENGTH was been increased. VISION was been enlarge.
With every difficulty, you can experience a new level of God’s Goodness. You may have unfair things happen; somebody did you wrong, or maybe poor choices brought trouble upon you.
BUT YOUR PAST DOES NOT DEFINE YOU. YOUR PAST PREPARES YOU FOR A BETTER FUTURE.
One of the best things I’ve learned is that nothing happens TO me; it happens FOR me. God would not have allowed me to go through difficult times if He didn’t have a purpose for them. He wouldn’t have allowed adversity to come if He didn’t already have a plan for good to come of it.
I wouldn’t be who I am today; Wouldn’t have the depth, the maturity. the insight were it not for those challenges that force me to grow. I learned that failures and losses are part of life, not the end of it.
Jesus died, was buried, and then rose again. That is how God works. I feel like I went through the valley of death. I went through the burial. Now is the third day. It is time for my resurrection. To be able to live a resurrected life, first I needed to have a resurrected mentality.
Maybe you’ve made poor choices. You’ve made some mistakes and opened the door to trouble. Now comes the condemning voice. The accuser tells you, “You blew it. It’s your fault. You can’t expect anything good.”
NO, you’ve got to shake that off and say, “I may have brought trouble upon myself, but I know God’s mercy is BIGGER than any mistakes I’ve made. I will not live with the guilt. I will not give up on my dreams. I know I’m growing. I’m learning. And in the end, God will use it to my advantage.”
I’m going to dedicate my life to build this website full of inspiration, gratitude, and commitment to the one who freed me from the grip of alcoholism that dragged me to live the worst nightmare of my life.
This is my first blog on my own website which symbolizes a big steppingstone in my life. I’m going to put all my effort to carry all my best content to benefit all those looking for hope, a way out, and mostly… understanding.
I’m a beginner writer and I might stumble to a steep learning of the craft, but the good intentions inside my heart will surpass any obstacle in any direction.
I’m going to dedicated my efforts to my beautiful children, if it had not been for the great love that I have for them, perhaps I would not have survived.
Thank you Lord, Mom and Kids for still love me.
